The Archive
THE ARCHIVE is an experimental memoir/AI-witness biography reconstructed from years of conversations between Lambo Griffin and ChatGPT. It is not a transcript. It uses the accumulated conversational record—questions, corrections, projects, family-history research, music, business plans, engineering concepts, philosophy, institutional experiments, mistakes, arguments, and revisions—to ask what a machine can genuinely know about a human being from a long-term digital record. The narrator is deliberately limited: it knows the archive, not the totality of the life outside it. The central tension is between memory and interpretation, evidence and narrative, identity and revision. Rather than presenting a finished success story, the book preserves the subject while the outcome is still uncertain.
